When one listens without fear

Dedicated to what one strains to hear.

A few random thoughts on listening formed into verse:

When one listens without fear, the mind opens wider.
The eyes become useless,
The soul fully engages.
Walls come closer,
Lights grow dimmer.
Shoes dance on their own,
and blue swallows green.
Breathing heightens,
Breathing steadies.

[This is how I feel when I expand my ears. My body outlaws flaws and generates breathable air.]

Take this day,
Hear what you’ve never heard.
Scatter orphaned notes among strangers.
Yet, be humble.
