A Light Note to Start the Week: I Am T-Pain

Dedicated to T-Pain for creating the iPhone application and this advertisement.

T-Pain released his “I Am T-Pain” application for the new iPhone. The following video is a comedic advertisement for the application with none other than Barack Obama as the promoter.

I appreciate Jimmy Kimmel’s comment that “There was a time in this country that in order to become a singer, you had to know how to sing…That’s not the case anymore thanks to auto-tune.” I admire the sarcasm of the true statement. Although I was never very interested in T-Pain, he has a few great songs that are popular. Also, this advertisement shows his humor as well as his support for Obama.

And…it’s hilarious! I can literally sit down and watch this consecutively for a while without getting bored. In fact, the humor grows with each viewing!

Quote of the Week:

“Music is everybody’s possession. It’s only publishers who think that people own it.” – John Lennon
