Dedicated to Will.I.Am, for inspiring young people.

During my last few months of high school, I would watch this video about five times a day. I felt the confusion the video portrays. I even went as far as to post copies of the question mark symbol around my school. The assistant principal thought it was a gang symbol and he was determined to find the perpetrator. I would draw the symbol everywhere: my skin, oranges, notebooks. But I still felt alone in my efforts.

I tend to think too deeply about the turmoil in this world. This brings me to tears. However, success can be found in misery. Still, promoting public awareness and encouraging sympathy is a very difficult act. People are and will always be stubborn, but little by little, I believe this world will overcome.

Quote of the Week:

“It is said that, ‘You can’t change the world but you can always change yourself.’ So, if you and I start to change then we have already begun changing the world.”
